Applying to UCB,UCLA,UCD,UCI,UCSC,UCSD & UCSB

CA Resident, studying in a cc,
Major:- Psychology
Overall transferrable GPA :- around 3.75 , may boost up to 3.82 if straignt As for my 15 units in Fall 07
Transferrable units: 95 quarter units before transfer
IGETC:- Completed

My chances for these schools ?

By the way, I get "Pass" for 6 transferrable units, without letter grades, they are not major preparation courses, how these units are counted in my GPA ? Also, will they affect my chances of admission ?

Thanks !

Well, psych is an impacted major but your GPA is fairly decent. I think in everywhere not sure about UCLA, all impacted majors are wildcards, but you're way ahead of most people.

for pass/no pass you get unit credit but no grade will go into your gpa. when calculating your gpa, pretty much don't divide by those extra 6 units.

I'll say you have a great chance. few of my friends made it to LA and they have way lower stats compare to urs and they don't even have TAP

You are definitely a match for UCLA as the average admit GPA is 3.63. UCB will be a match/slight reach. However It is absolutely vital that you complete all your major prerequisites for UCLA and Berkeley if you want to get accepted. The rest of the schools you should not have a problem getting accepted to.

Assuming that you will be done with your pre-req by spring. YOUR IN!!! Don't worry... UCLA and rest in.. and UCB 22%rate for social science...
I am an anthro major and shooting for social science also... not 100percent for Berkeley but you do have a great chance!

My GPA drops to 3.725 after reporting the fall 07 grades, will I still get the chances to UCLA & UCB, I am a bit worried for the dropping of the GPA after the fall 07.

haha don't worry u will get in either one.. but can't guarantee both..
