applying to ucf,usf??!?!?!?!

<p>im a florida resident.
okay so i graduated high school with a 3.6 gpa
ive gotten all a's and b's since 9th grade
but my sat scores are horrible. i got a 1470(m+cr+w)
my math score was 430or 420
and cr was 520or 530</p>

<p>i want to apply to college for the fall 2011 semester but i dont
want to apply to a college i have no chance of getting into.
i really like UCF-university of central florida
and USF-university of south florida</p>

<p>i want to attend fl schools because my economic position isnt great(my parents both are unemployed at the moment)
so i really need help
based on my info do you think ill be able to get into either of these colleges?
if not do you have any suggestions for me ?</p>

ive done volunteer work at nursing homes, animal shelters and i went
on a missions trip other than that nothing really</p>

<p>@Iamworried: With your current SAT score, UCF is a high reach and USF is a low one. Try to get the math up to a 500+ and the reading to a 550, so you have a composite 1050. Because of your GPA, a higher SAT would likely gain you admission to FGCU, FIU, and FAU. This would also give you a better chance at admission to USF. UCF, however, is still a reach, as they like to see at least a 4.0 GPA. Best of luck!</p>
