Applying to UC's with only one application?

Is it true that you can apply to all UC’s with only one application?

Yeah, I think there's one application and you just like check off which of the uc schools you want to send it to

Yeah, I think there's one application and you just like check off which of the uc schools you want to send it to

Anyone know if it hurts your chances at a particular UC if you apply to all of them?

to the above poster, no. apply to as many as you want. makes no difference.

No, the UCs aren't aware of which other UCs you've applied to.

actually, they do know you've applied, but its normal. everyone applies to 3 or 4.

one application but multiple fees ($55 per campus)...

1 campus = $55
5 campuses = $275
9 campuses = $495

It all depends on how much money you want to spend on application fees.

Between mutiple applications, taking the SAT/ACT multiple times, college visits during 11th/12th grades, etc., preparing for/applying for college can get downright expensive!

They won't charge me if I have fee waivers, right?

Yes, but I believe you are limited to 4 or 5 campuses with the fee waivers.

It is possible to apply for a fee waiver. According to info in a 55-page document, UC will wave application fees for up to four campuses for qualified applicants who otherwise would be unable to apply.

Alright, thanks.
