Applying to Umich

hey guys

filling out my application for Umich and i got to the major part. i made my list of 10 majors that i want to do and i couldn;t shorten them at all. i want to do too many things and interested in everything, it's like i have no interest. i want to go to Umich for Engineering...actually bussiness but i figure i would have a better than at their engineering school. but i know i would be lucky if i ended up at LSA...undecided. i;m wondering that if i do apply for engineering or business and i don't get in, would they automatically consider to see if i qualify for the LSA, which i believe is easier to get into but hard to transfer out of. i know that at VT if you aren't qualified for your Applied major, they would consider you for their University Studies program. just wondering if it is the same at Umich...

Thanks

Your post is pretty jumbled, but I can tell you that 10 potential majors seems unfocused.

You can't apply to both the engineering school and LSA. Only one or the other. If you want to apply to the business school, you have to be accepted to one of the regular schools (in this case, either LSA or engineering). If you don't get accepted to Ross as a preferred admit, you'll still be a student at the engineering school or LSA and can apply to the business school the following year.

Oh, and by the way, wrong forum.

There is no way something like that is binding. Apply with whatever major strikes your fancy at that moment. You can always change your major later. Keep in mind most people change their major several times before they graduate.
