Applying to undergraduate business school

My son wants to study business. He will be applying to several schools for business undergraduate programs. Schools include NYU Stern, USC Marshall, UPenn Wharton, UCB Hass plus others. I know the schools I have listed are really hard to get into.

As I understand it, if he doesn't get into the business program, he doesn't get into the college. I know this is true about some of the schools but not sure if it's true with all of them.
Can anyone suggest any good business schools on the West Coast?
Can anyone give me more information?
Thanks.

USC, UCLA, Berkeley, Pepperdine…

U of Washington also has a good business undergraduate and graduate program.
