Applying to University then College?

<p>Ok so I'm a senior in high school and starting the college application process and I'm confused on a certain thing. I'm going to major in finance as an undergrad, which is business, and I'm wondering if after I apply to the university I want to go to, then do I have to apply for their school of business after?</p>

<p>For example: I apply to University of Michigan, then do I apply for the Ross school of business?</p>

<p>It depends on the school. For UofM, you apply simultaneously to the LSA school and to Ross (through another essay I believe). For other institutions, you might have to pick “business” or just apply to their university in general. It should be fairly explicit how you have to apply for each school.</p>
