Hi I'm currently a junior and I'm thinking of applying to USC EA this fall.
What does USC look most in terms of admissions? I have a really low GPA (about 3.7 weighted, 3.4-3.5 unweighted), but my ECs and SATs are okay. I am in 6 clubs, with leadership positions in 3 of them, and an SAT score over 2250.

Also, how hard is it for an international student to get financial aid? Would applying for FA lower my chances of admissions?
Lastly, how good/competitive is the international relations program?
I would love to hear your experiences in USC and maybe a few advice :D thanks all!

USC does not have EA. Your stats are below their stats for admitted students. It would be a high reach for you especially since 51,000+ apply (18% admit rate this year). They are need blind and I know they accept a lot of Internationals.

International students are not eligible for financial aid. They can receive merit scholarships, though.

On the other hand you never know and if you want to attend, you should apply. I’d just make sure I had a backup plan. My D has a similar GPA and lower SAT and was accepted to IMGD (which depending on who you talk to has an acceptance rate of 2-4%). Make sure your application shows not just your stats, but who you are and what you are passionate about and anything is possible (and the acceptance rate is 0% for those who don’t apply).
