I applied to Wharton ED and only took the math 1 and US history subject tests. I am not going to be taking math 2 until December so they will not have my score for ED. Does this hurt my chances a Wharton because they are so concentrated on math? Or, in other words, am I screwed?

There's no way you're getting in...Math II is all-important. Penn laughs at Math I, actually they might be insulted by a Math I score even in their presence.

Lol jk on their website they say that either Math I or II is recommended for prospective students, with no preference.

it will depend on how you did on math I, sat I math section, ur math courses, and ap scores if you've taken calc.

if you're not in calc or havent taken it, this could be a slight issue. if ur sat ii math I and sat i math are not so great, then it will be a problem.

however, if you've been a solid math student throughout hs and ur only real blemish is not taking an sat ii in math ii, no real harm done.

I have the following math scores:
Math level 1:730
Sat I Math Section: 780
AP Statistics: 5
And I am taking AP Calculus this year
How am I looking?

You should be fine with math scores like that. I'm a Wharton freshman this year and I have friends who didn't even take calculus in high school (although most did their senior year).

In all honesty, Wharton isn't really that math focused (at least once you get here). The only required math class is Math 104 which a 5 on BC calc (but ONLY BC calc!) places you out of. Unless you want to do very quantatively focused finance or actuarial science courses, you don't need any math beyond basic calculus at Wharton (even to complete a finance concentration). Even the required Wharton stat classes (Stat 101 and 102) strip out most of the math. With a 5 on AP stat you can go right into stat 102 once you've completed the Math 104 req and it should be very easy for you.

Ok...Thanks for your help TSATF
