Applying to Wharton...

So Wharton is my #1 school now, but the acceptance rate is so much lower that the rate for CAS. Are you automatically considered for CAS if you don't make it to Wharton?

And what was the acceptance rate for Wharton last year? I can't find it...

No, you arent. If you get rehected from Wharton then you're out. They wont consider you for CAS.

4996 freshmen (admitted and denied) sought full-time admission to the business program for the 2005-2006 academic year.
13% of these applicants were admitted to the program

This might help

How much better is a Wharton business education as compared to an economics at HYP? Explain why please. :)

Wharton isn't like a university-wide frickin honors program. It's another school. That's like getting a letter saying "well you didn't get into Harvard Law but here's a seat at HBS."

Didn't tenebrousfire try to make a sticky about this one time?

You apply to one of the four schools at Penn. Nursing, engineering, the college of arts and sciences, or wharton. You get one shot. If you apply to wharton, you are only considered at Wharton. The college is not the "backup" for Wharton. It's a different school with different subjects.
