Would it affect chances of admission? Let's say I apply to Yale this year EA, get rejected. So I go off and add to my ECs, get some internships. And come back apply EA or RD next year. Would it affect my chances?

bumpppppppppp

I'd really like to know this too..

unless your new achievements are world-class, i doubt it'll make a difference. we're talking about Yale here.

Andison I believe applied to some schools two years in a row. The 1st year he was rejected at all the schools he applied to, he worked very hard during his gap year & this year reapplied carefully with very focused applications highlighting what he accomplished during his gap year + his outstanding prior record & has received many acceptances this year, often with huge merit awards.
