Will applying twice hurt your chances the second time? I am thinking of applying RD this year then if I fail, I am probably going to boost up my portfolio with internships and the army.

And what do they mean by slides in your portfolio? Couldn't I just give them a pamplet of my artwork?

November 1 for Single-Choice Early Action candidates, December 31 for Regular Decision candidates, or March 1 for transfer candidates.

Submit no more than one sheet of 20 color transparencies of 35 mm size.
The slides should specifically include some drawing samples. Although digital cd portfolios will be accepted, slides are preferred.

a friedn got rejected from Yale, MIT, UPENN and Stanford the first time he applied. The second year he applied again, and was accepted to all the universities he applied to.

I guess the thing is to find out what was your application lacking, why were you rejected and solve it. He had really weak Service (EC's) so that year off he got, he used it to do a lot of service projects, volunteer here and there...i uess that was enough.

Yeah, if I don't get in, I'm probably going to do some community service stuff, that'll be fun ^^. Some internships, too. Damn army, I want more time.

OMG! A Singaporean! Yeah, I am really really hoping to get the April enlistment. I'm hoping to go into Special Intelligene. Then I wouldn't emerge out of the army as dumb as a tire.
