I was seeking some insight… does applying to Stanford twice hurt you? or does it really matter? Look forward to reading all of the answers. Thank you in advance!
I don’t think it would hurt you, though your second application would ideally have important new information about what you’ve been up to in the past year. I heard of one student at my son’s high school who, some years ago, had her heart set on Columbia but didn’t get in. She took a gap year and did some sort of work in a foreign country, then applied to Columbia again. She got in.
