Hey guys, Im going to be applying to UC schools in engineering. Since engineering is a really hard major to get into for the mid tier to top tier schools, would it best that I apply as an undeclared major and change majors at orientation?

You can apply as undeclared Engineering or Undeclared Letters & Science. If the latter, it will be really hard to transfer into Engineering later.

Hey bluebayou thanks for replying, I find your posts helpful 100% of the time.

If I were to apply Undeclared Engineering, would that increase my chances of getting into the university instead of applying for an impacted major such as Aerospace Engineering?

^Complete opposite. Undeclared Engineering is one of the hardest things to get into.
