If I apply next year with no subject tests, and I apply to a major that doesn't require them, will it hurt my chances?

Only CALS doesn’t require subject tests. The 6 other schools require at least one.

If you are planning on applying to CALS, take a couple subject tests and if you don’t do too well, just don’t send them.

Here are the requirements for each school:

Are you planning to apply as a freshman or are you transferring from another college?

None of the colleges require subject tests for transfer students.

Just got my subject test results today: 740 WH, 720 Math II, 690 Lit (took lit blind for fun). Would sending these scores harm my chances of acceptance more than they would help? I know lit isn’t good, but what about the other two?

The 740 and 720 are definitely acceptable however it would be better to get them both past the 750 mark at least.

Those are great scores. Send them and don’t worry about it.

I agree w/Swimmer726. Your subject tests scores are fine.

Alright, thanks for the help!
