Applytexas

Applytexas is killing me, it's my 6th time putting in the activities and it keeps deleting it or re-arranging it every time I save it. Anyone else with this problem?

DEADLINE COMING UP SOON!!

I had that too, bit it worked out in the end.

Still have one essay to go!

Good luck!

But how did you resolve it? I keep updating it, and typing everything and it keep deleting. Applytexas doesn’t even have a contact phone number. I didn’t even start putting in my awards or volunteer work yet, this is insane.

I typed up the info last week! I’m sorry I can’t help you! :(

Maybe try switching to Google Chrome? Not sure really.

I am using Google Chrome right now, did you try with safari or IE? How many times did you do it until it worked?

I just keep saving every time I put the data in. It seems to be working now, but I have to re-arrange everything because its in order of priority… Varsity swimming shouldn’t be going first…!

Never use Google Chrome for any applications, taxes, official forms etc. Always use IE, it is supported everywhere.

I used Chrome and it worked…

^I used it too and didn’t have a problem at all.

IE is a default browser for all websites. It always works. Other browsers are not so accommodating. I usually use Mozilla but switch to IE when I go to any official governmental etc website because I had so many problems in the past when the whole application simply disappeared or payment did not go through…
IRS, INS, local property taxes, job applications ;-)

ApplyTexas actually supports Google Chrome, 9.0 or higher.
The Common Application doesn’t. “While the majority of features will work with other browsers, we cannot guarantee complete compatibility or offer support for unsupported browsers. Users have reported significant issues with the following browsers, and we do not recommend you use them: Google Chrome, AOL browser”

P.S. Next year you’ll go to FAFSA website. It would be a pity to lose information if your browser has bugs.
