<p>Sorry for the confusion, our son only applied to USMA and will accept that appointment. I now realize my post congratulating Plebe2008, also from TN, was worded in a confusing manner. When I stated "as well" in the post, I was meaning son got word of the USMA appointment at about the same time Plebe2008 received word of Navy appointment from the TN MOC's. So Anonagron's son will have to come off the USNA list :(. But we shall still meet up at the Army-Navy Game ;).</p>

<p>Seriously, these candidates are an awesome bunch in my book, no matter which branch of service they are choosing. And since I come from a non-military family background, I just want to say a big thank you to each and every one of our new cadets for their unselfish desire to serve in the United States military. (Ohhh, I am starting to feel like they are ALL my kids! I am beaming for all of them!!!). :)</p>
