<p>Did anyone else get their appeal approved yesterday (May 1st)? I did, and I had already submitted my SIR to uci! but I submitted it to ucsd this morning because they said I had until May3rd to make a final decision. </p>
<p>I'm a little worried though about housing.. because I wasn't able to get it in by May1st and the site said that I was no longer guaranteed housing, and that I might not be able to get the freshman 2yr housing guarantee. Anyone else have this problem?!</p>
<p>My Appeal was also approved! My SIR was to Santa Barbara, so I assume we will just have to cancel admission on Monday when these school’s offices open.</p>
<p>I got my notice on april 30th [but my deadline was May 1st]! Luckily, I didn’t submit my SIR to any other school, and I rushed my finaid verification forms & housing app. However, I don’t know how much finaid I get… I hope it’s as much as the other UCs gave me.</p>

<p>out of curiosity, what did you write in your appeal and why did you appeal?</p>
<p>In my appeal, I simply wrote about what I was missing in the app–information sufficient enough to boost me above the cut-off threshold.</p>
