I must agree with fmstyle. Walking uphill to the dorms with a sweaty back is the worst part of the afternoon. Bruin Walk makes the Wooden Center saunas obsolete.

I'm betting the heat is better then the rain though!

so it's best to get a bike, wouldn't you say?

half the workout, triple the speed......

wear a poncho when it rains.

Nah I wouldn't get a bike here. Bruin Walk is all crowded and there are too many stairs to worry about. A skateboard seems like a good way to get to class quicker though.

I tried a bike for a few weeks my first year at UCLA. Bad idea. Go with bipedalism.

What is this, the Autobahn?
Bump into someone on your bike/skateboard and prepare to be sued!

The Bike seems like a good idea on the ride to class... However the ride back would still be a pain.

Still bad idea on the way to class, because you end up dealing with lots of stairs.

Still, the Young Drive route might have worked...

Skateboards aren't a good idea either- ucla pd tickets, a lot. Lots of people do it, but its technically not allowed and if they see you, you'll probably be fined.

I just saw someone try to navigate through bruinwalk on a bike. Bad, bad idea.

Yeah lol. I saw someone just carry their bike up the stairs. Haha.

The walk really is not that bad until you actually hit the hill. I always get upset when I see Saxon since they look so much like Hitch, and I have a moment a joy as I think I've made it back... Then reality returns and I continue on for another 5 minutes.

they should make a bike expressway that cuts straight across campus.
