Approximation help?

I've been using the Princeton book 1,296 ACT questions.
My English section has been fairly consistent with me missing only 8 or less questions out of the total 75.
However, my teacher lent me another ACT practice book from Peterson [Peterson Ultimate ACT Prep book] and I've been missing HALF the questions for the passages.

Should I study to the Peterson or continue going with the Princeton book?
Which is closer to the actual ACT test in terms of difficulty?

Thank you.

Peterson’s is supposedly harder. I’ve heard their reading section is horrifying.

Oh. I’m not sure what to say now.
I suppose I should study to Peterson’s then.
Can’t go wrong with studying the harder things.

Not necessarily true. Studying harder things can actually end up hurting you.
