<p>im a high school senior and applied to UVA RD- econ major. What are my chances of acceptance and a scholarship with these stats?</p>

<p>indian, female, competitive public hs in nj</p>

<p>my sophmore year i took a college level french class at the local college and received credit to go onto the next level of french at my high school</p>

<p>GPA: 4.2 w, 3.85 uw; 16/ 340
SAT: 700 CR, 800 M, 700 W (1500/2200)
SAT II: 790 Math II, 750 Chemistry, 720 Biology M
AP: 5 bio, 5 us history, 5 calc ab, 4 chem, 4 lang and comp</p>

<p>SR yr schedule: AP English lit, art, AP envi sci, AP Physics B, AP calc bc, latin v honors, AP American govt</p>

<p>ECs: cross country- captain, 3 yr varsity runner, all county honorable mention; attending indian cultural school for past 13 years- magazine and newsletter editor; student of indian classical music for past 9 years- 6 performances; interact club- president for 2 years; Model UN- president; March of Dimes Youth Council- board president; english tutor for adult education; international services volunteer for red cross; food pantry volunteer; National Honor Society; Math League; Latin Club</p>

<p>Awards: National Merit commended student, AP Scholar with Distinction, National Latin Honor Society, Minds in Motion Scholar/ Athlete (4.0 gpa and varsity athlete), National Latin Exam- magna cum laude (4 years), Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholar, Merck State Science Day participant, NJ Governor's School of Engineering Finalist; delegate to Girls Career Institute summer 2007 at Rutgers University</p>

<p>Essays: my first short answer was about the book charlie and the chocolate factory. for the second short answer, i picked the favorite word one and wrote about the word "showering". for topic of choice, i wrote a play with different aspects of my personality as the characters. </p>

<p>Recs: guidance counselor loves me- it was probs really good, but i didnt read it; teacher recs were from physics teacher and calc teacher- both love me, i read my calc teachers- it was really good; ive known my physics teacher since freshman yr, i was only freshman taking physics and know i have her again for AP Physics</p>

<p>hard to say really, you have a good shot at getting in but you won’t see any direct money from the university (unless it’s financial aid)</p>
