<p>Indian Male . Attend #1 Best Public School in Georgia (named best for 3 consec. yrs)</p>

<p>Academics: </p>

<p>W: 94.32 (3.9 GPA)
UW: 91.4 (3.6 GPA)
Most rigorous workload: 7 APs, 1 JE. All Honors classes except 3 on-level classes.
19th percentile --> out of 611 kids. </p>

<p>SAT: 680 CR, 650 M, 700 W = 1330/1600
SAT (for UT-Austin): 680 CR, 630 M, 640 W = 1310/1600 </p>

<p>Recommendations:
Friggin Sweet = 3 teachers. All really like me and praise me. Counselor and I are very close. </p>

<p>Essays: Pretty good in my opinion. Those who have proofread have said they are all very well. Creative and Catchy. </p>

<p>I know!! Why can’t they just tell us?? :wink: I applied to a ton of reach schools and only a few for sure ones..but im pretty sure you will get in all of yours!</p>

<p>Emory will be tough. If kids at your school get into top 20 schools with your rank then you should have a shot. It’s just hard for us to gauge what it means to be the “top HS in Georgia.”</p>

<p>Emory and UT Austin are reach schools… Emory (is emory) and UT Austin is like…6-7 percent acceptance OOS. </p>

<p>I know ppl. who didn’t have as good stats as urs, and got accepted to both Emory and UT Austin., so Im pretty sure it won 't be a prob for u…
The only thing that might affect you is that this year the number of applicants in most of the schools has gone up significantly, so the competition is way higher than previous years…But hopefully, that wouldn’t affect too much…</p>
