Apps sent, anything else I can do?

<p>I have all my applications in. Is there anything else I can do, or should I just be patient and wait for the results? One person suggested I send letters to the Dean of Admissions and the Assistant Director in charge of Ohio to show interest and improve my chances at my first choice school, but I wasn't sure if this would come off as annoying.</p>

<p>Failing that, what else can I do?</p>

<p>Have you visited the school? Interviewed?</p>

<p>Colleges generally do not want you sending additonal materials unless it is something of importance that has changed, e.g., you now have a higher SAT score. If you don’t have something like that to add, do nothing. The letters you suggest would most likely quickly make the trip to the recycle bin.</p>
