i can’t say for sure. bowdoin is so incredibly selective, much more so than connecticut college. i wish you all the luck in the world, but to be honest: if the readers at conn deferred you, it’s highly unlikely you’ll get into bowdoin.

thank you for being honest! i was kinda dissapointed with conn’s deferral coz i know a guy who got accepted there last year but with much lower statistics and similar background.
we shall see then!

You have good stats, but applying for FA as an international student always yields interesting results.

i know. do i stand a chance although im lookung for fa?

It looks really good to me except I am not familiar with the IB system so i wonder what your GPA would be on a 4.0 scale…
I am also an international student who got into Bowdoin through Early Decision and with financial aid. so as long as they want you, I don’t think the money is going to be a big problem! =]
Your stats look so amazing that it also surprises me you got deferred by Connecticut College… I hope it is because of bad luck!
well, good luck on Bowdoin admission!!! I wish Bowdoin could get some more international students this year!

as far as i know, they translate a 7 as an A+, 6 is an A and 5 is a B. so i have one b, one a+ and others are a’s.

i heared they accepted only 4 ints on ed, so i guess those 4 had sth i didnt
i just hope to get into somewhere coz i wouldnt like to take a gap year.

They actually took 8 international students in ED round ( I was not lucky enough to be one of those 8).

i was talking about connecticut college or we r talking about the same thingie? :)

You do have a good shot at Mount Holyoke, but the international FA might hurt you. You have a diverse set of colleges, so I know you will get into some of them. I’m going to say no
on Bowdoin and your chances are kind of low for Con

Tnx. My first choice in in Europe and then the States. Why do you think I have bigger chances at Moho than at Conn when Moho is ranked better?

Moho’s admission rate is actually higher than Conn since it is a women’s college and Moho loves international students and gives out pretty good Financial aid package.
