Seeing as nobody made these yet, here you guys go. Discuss all April Math questions here.

what did you guys get for the Tan BAC question??? I got 1. It wasnt a right triangle because the sides were sqrt(20), sqrt(32), (6

I got 1 too

i got sqrt5/3

i put 1 as a complete guess

It was rad 5 over 3. You had to use distance formula for each. For top opposite side u got rad 20 and the adjacent side u got 6. That reduces to rad 5 over 3

It wasnt a right triangle so you couldnt use sohcahtoa

That’s so false

you could make it a 45-45-90 triangle then use sohcahtoa saying tan=opp/adj which is 4/4 which is 1

I got 1, because the 2 points were (0, 4) and (4, 0), so it’s like a 1,1,sqrt2 triangle. Therefore tangent is 4/4 or 1…

i could have sworn that wasn’t a right triagle…

For the cone question with the plane when it is sliced down the middle was it D?

it definitely wasnt a right triange, the sides were 6, radical 20, radical 32.

it was absolutely 1. the angles of the triangle were like 74.13747 or something, 61.142134 or something and 45 EVEN. tangent of a 45 angle is ALWAYS 1

was the cone question the triangle with a curved bottom or a straight line?

It was a right triangle. It had the square symbol in the bottom corner.

sorry to interrupt, but which question are you guys alluding to?

It was not a right triangle. The coordinates were (-2,0), (0,4), and (4,0). The answer was 1 because the angle was 45 degrees.

Yeah idk what question either lol.

I assumed it was the river one?

Either way, I DID SOHCAHTOA and got one. Soo yeah.

Definitely 1
