i put -56*c for that one

Wait, I thought that question asked, “on this day, what was the temperature?” not the sd? so if the average devation is -4 and the temperature was -60 is was -56?

starting to think i misread the question

but yeah i put c

@highteeld yeah -56 for me too

I thought the equation was:

4 = X - 60

So i actually got +64

wow…ive never done a practice science section in my life, and this was pretty easy. I just got that stupid melting point one wrong.

and also-what the heck was that one about tova?? they didnt give us the average temperature for it.

@fisa-it was 4 degress above the average temperature of 60 degrees, which is -56. :)

on the section about rivers (hated that one), what happened when the point of measuring moved north? did the flood increase? (cuz it’s closer to the flood plain, or at least that was my line of thought)

it was 4=x–60 so +60

-56+60=4

…i think this thread might give me an anxiety attack

j/k. i think.

seriously though, riverrrs
discuss? plz?

i said there was no flood

but they said flood=the highest volume of water that passes by a certain point so how it that even possible? even if the volume decreases, there’s still a highest point

maybe i misunderstood

I put no flood too.

i think there was another river(possibly two) that would have felt the effects of the rain, kind of acting as blocks from the rain

okay. i think i got that one wrong, too. 2 down then…maybe 3. one more and i’ll probably have to retake :/

for the flood one, i said the other choice that referred to that river, the choice about damn concentration. I had the no flood but then changed it to this once i saw the max on the figure. did anyone think this way?

oops wrong thread

i also put -56 but i was in a rush so im not sure…

pretty sure it was -56, it increased by 4 from -60 i think

This might have already been discussed, but what was the answer to question 37, something about air temperature deviation above Mt Tabo? I guessed 4 degrees below average I think.

Yes, it was 4 degrees below.

looking at ppl talk about answers makes me nervous, but I seem to have gotten them all right!
