The first story, about that company the Battles. The first question was like what was the main focus and I put reflections about his role or something…

i felt like reflections about his role was only discussed in the last paragraph. i put something along the lines of it was about the state of the company in the past, the present, and future.

Reflection about company’s past and something about his position in the current position ro something.

It was all about his role. The state of the company would have included data, numbers, stock, etc. He talked about how he was different in that he didn’t care much and how he was different from his father and how his girlfriend felt.

Damn! OH the cork story! What did you guys put for the one that said, cork was distinctly different from this. It was either bulk, wood, or trunk. I put wood I think

That one I didn’t know that I skipped until the proctor called time :o.

Tank was the narrator’s dad, right?

3 most important qualities = low density, something with cellulose, something else

I know that the Portugal question was that it supplied half of the world.

Yep!
Other than passage one, where I made one mistake, I thought the others were easy.

Does everyone agree that the BattleBrick passage was about a man reflecting on his role rather than the state of the company?

That’s what I put.
Choice A. Right?

i got state of the company. i guess you could make an argument for both.

On the Science passage, What did you put for the narrator’s tone? I put admiring.

I also put admiring

Admiring.
Author said it was a amazing feat and even more amazing feat for its time.

does anyone remember any of the questions from the photography passage?

The Science, last, passage again: The one about the German’s reports to his friends was surely the one explaining that he though his work was insignificant and didn’t show anyone.
What did you guys get?

In the battlebrick passage, for which one he purposfully declined to take a stance on, I said his role in the companies. (his girlfriend talked about his role, but he never inputted his opinion) Anyone else?
-So in the other question about the the main point of the passage I said the past, present, future state of the company.
