<p>The question was something about why the part of the procedure in the description on Day 1 (which referred to a drying agent being used) was necessary. The answer was because it was needed to remove excess water or whatever.</p>
<p>Wait so for the independent one, it’s dependent because it was measured by the scientist NOT because it is directly established by the chemicals??</p>

<p>It was dependent because, although the scientists were choosing the chemicals, they were only changing the temperature. Thus, the RH would have been an experimental variable based on the temperature.</p>

<p>I do remember that the description for the section had like 3 sentences for what they did on day 0, and that question specifically asked about the purpose of the first thing that they did on day 0 (which was the drying agent). I think the other choices (at least one of them) described the other stuff they did on day 0.</p>
