For most colleges you only have to send one of ACT or SAT right? Because based on how bad I did on this there is no way I’m sending this score over my SAT.
Hey guys, i took the act yesterday too. I thought the science section was so hard!! In practice i was getting like 25/26 on the science i had to guess on the last 10-12 questions. i feel like I did very badly. May have gotten a 20 or below on science…
@venenojk16 same here! in the red book i was consistently hitting 27 but now i really don’t know whats gonna happen
Did anyone notice how on one of the English sections there was 14 questions for one passage and 16 for another?
So are we all taking it again in June, I’m guessing?
I took the Dec and Feb tests and thought this April test was much more difficult. For some strange reason, reading was harder for me this time??? (I got 33 in reading the past two tests). Math was very easy, English was not too bad, and science a little more difficult. Im worried that I may have gotten 36 in math but bombed reading so even if a school super scores this may not be a good test to send.
How many times should a student take the ACT? My son has taken 3 and he said he wants to try it again in June but I was thinking that would look poorly. I thought I heard it suggested to take it two times, maybe 3 but not more.
@collegemom2boys i think that’s for the SAT. i believe you are obligated to only send one of your scores
@ssjr16 Everyone is saying that the math was hard.
I thought the math was slightly harder but overall it was doable…
Are we getting our scores on April 28th because the website says April 28th-- June 12th?
@collegemom2boys Below is a direct link from the ACT Website…Also, have him send his best composite score in unless a college that he is interested in super scores. I have a daughter at Clemson and she ended up sending all 3 composites (Clemson does not super score), but knowing what I now know,I will only let my son, who is a HS sophomore and just took this past April test, send his best ones even if that means I pay the extra fee to do so.
@Upenngirl98 The scores will be sent ANYWHERE between those dates…I’m hoping for April 28th , but we are at the mercy of the ACT gods.
Will the June ACT be just as hard?

english- honestly probably 2-3. maybe 4, TOPS
math- 10 or so, maybe a few more?
reading- 1-2
science- YIKES. um 15.probably more…lol 
@BryceBJ I honestly guessed on most of the science section. Was it your first time taking the ACT?
@Wannabenerd1 no I took the February one and got a 32. I woulda got like a 33 or 34 but I had a 29 on science, so I decided to take it again and try and raise that but I think I prob got lower than a 29 this time
