I need a lot of help there 
The double passages are on the reading section(usually the 3rd page) and they’re composed of two passages(together being about as long as normal passage) with the first 3-4 questions being about the first passage and another 3-4 on the second passage followed by the few remaining questions that ask about the both of them
why was this thread made… all we are doing is complaining about how we didn’t study
Can anyone provide good tips to combat the Reading and Science section. How are we supposed to deal with this ridiculous time limit? The English and Math section are easy to improve in but these 2 seem to be my “kryptonite”. All the vids on YouTube aren’t helping since they are focused on taking notes to the side or glancing which haven’t helped me.

1st time taking it, actually kinda nervous. I’m already sick of the ACT lol - I’ve taken like 10 full practice tests and my composite scores are always all over the place (30-35). I hope I at least get a 32-33 but I might crack under the pressure…
Does anybody know whether or not it really makes a difference if you have a graphing calculator? cause I have just a basic one but I want a 36 in math
@blargenshmargen I’m taking it for the first time too! I use a graphing calculator, and it saves a lot of time when it comes to graph questions, equation solving, system of equations, and roots of quadratic equations. On top of that, I use it to store formulas that I can’t remember. So yeah, a graphing calculator is very helpful, but only if you know how to use it well.
If you’re doing okay with the basic one, then don’t switch.

@AsianDoctor to get tips, other suggestions, and find out who else is taking it and their tips. Why were the other billion threads about ACT test dates made?
How many double passages are there?? And what’s the best strategy to get those questions correct in the fastest time? Usually I skim the passages and do fine, but will skimming the passages work in the same way for these double passages?
