Did ANYONE get scores today? We did not, so I guess it’s on to Wednesday now. So frustrating. How is someone supposed to know whether they need to register for the next ACT if they don’t have their scores from this one back yet. I’m starting to really dislike act.org.
My scores came out 
Son’s writing score was added this morning. His composite had went up 3 points, but writing went down one. Disappointing, but he was going to have to take it again anyway…
Daughter still registered in Long Island. Frustrating!

It may not be the greatest score, but I finally broke 30 AND got a 35 on English!! Ready to conquer the test in June!
Our son’s writing score was also added this morning. He had a composite of 35. But the writing score was only 21. Should he be retaking the test. Not sure how much emphasize is given to writing score.

California here. Son received scores this morning. Still waiting on the essay score. Composite went up 3 points! Science was his weakest section.
@ak200008 I would not have him retake the test. 35 is a fantastic score. Congratulations!! There are threads on College Confidential that advise people on how to submit the writing score for re-evaluation. Many people reported that their new score was much higher. There is a time limit, however, so you should probably do it right away if you are going to. I have no actual knowledge of how admissions feels about the writing score, but I personally suspect that since they know there is a problem with inconsistent scoring they probably don’t pay too much attention to it.

Am I the only one annoyed that they’re releasing writing scores before scoring everyones multiple choice… I mean it’s almost as if they’re catering to those who paid the extra 14.50 for the writing over the “plebian” customers. I’m just so urked with this waiting game.

Really disappointed about the math score as it’s my best subject in school. Very pleased with reading and science. English is fine, not worried about the decrease there. Gonna have to take it one more time.
