***April 2016 ACT Discussion Thread***

i think the status changes directly from registered to tested… at least i hope so

@NikkuWadde “Where should I see “tested” when they’ve graded my scores?”

Once you log into your account, you will be on a page with your prior tests (if you have taken any.) Don’t fall for the head-fake. That is the wrong page. To the left of that you will see a list of links you can click.

You want to click the third option. “Your Test Dates and Scores”

You should see the test you just took there and whether it is “registered” or “tested”

Among those who took the test internationally, has anyone got their scores yet? Does anyone have a rough idea when the scores come out for international test takers.

@NikkuWadde Prepscholar has a page that has a link to the ACT score page (“Head to the student account page”), and it shows you what the pages look like and where to click step-by-step:

Anyone change to “Tested” today?

How did you guys score so highly? I got a composite of 29 without studying.
E-29
M-30
R-26
S-31

My goal is at least a 33, put preferably a 34/35.
I didn’t get my writing score back, but does anyone have any advice for that as well?

I’m scheduled to take the exam again in June. Thanks!

@DoctorMD

Pretty sure you answered your own question there!

@CATDECAL ahhh yeah now that you pointed it out, that was really obvious haha. I meant to ask how did some of you guys study for the exam, and how did those who didn’t study and earned a 34+.
Basically I’m trying to figure out the underlying mental process that high scoring students have. Sorry for not being clear.

Guys, I still haven’t switched to tested. I suppose i won’t be getting scores tomorrow.

Are we sure it changes to “tested” when your test has been graded? It is my understanding that “tested” status only comes when your scores have actually been reported.

Why is it taking so long to get my scores?!? This is the first time I’ve taken the ACT and people from my test center have gotten back their scores and I have not (Granted they took it with writing and I opted for the no writing but still). This is very frustrating waiting and wondering what my score is. Has anyone’s status changed from registered to tested?

Darn it, still registered. Why…???

My score was released last Friday. The status remained as registered until they released it; as far as I know it didn’t change to tested before that. There’s hope!

@USPanther, SAME!! I opted for no writing as well and I’m still registered hopefully we get it tonight, but if not at least we know there are others like us.

@DoctorMD

A great place to start is getting some practice test books and working them. After each test, go over what you missed with a parent or teacher.

That will almost certainly move the needle on your scores.

8 minutes hopefully scores will be posted :D!

Welp, no scores again… guess the waiting continues.

@PsychicPanda2

Fudge the ACT. Even slower score release times than the SAT.

Let’s all hope that it comes out @8am!
