State ACT wasn’t administered with writing unfortunately. No idea of the curve

@Ctesiphon
Yes it was. I took it with writing. I just depended on whether your school decided to administer it or not

@Ctesiphon did they come in the mail or online? Congrats!

It came in the mail for me. This was my first test, so I did not have an online account set up for that.

I got my scores back tonight and I have an urgent question for your guys. For the math section, I got perfect scores in the subscore categories for math (18,18,18), but I only got a 35 for the score. Shouldn’t it be a 36? I’ve never heard of a test being so easy that it was impossible to get a 36 on from the start. Should I call the ACT to make sure?

For all of you that want to know, the scores were mailed out a couple days ago and since they are first-class mail, they should be arriving either today, tomorrow, or the next day at the latest.

@NIGHTLOCK
You got a 35 because you probably missed one… 18+18+18= 54
And the math section has 60 questions. So probably, one of the sections had “more questions”. For example, maybe the algebra was was like 50% of the test, so if you missed one, your composite score goes down, but maybe not your sub score. Does that make sense? It’s just a theory, but I don’t know…
What else did you get?

@ ALSO, who told you that they were all mailed out?

Got a 35 composite but it was actually a 34.5. Got lucky this time w the rounding :D. I received mine in mail, so I assumed that they were mailed. Anyways, good luck to you! E34M35R34S35

Anyone in ILL received their score in mail.

Or anyone in SC?

Looks like no one got their scores today!
@NIGHTLOCK what state are you in?

I’m in Arizona. Half the kids in my school got the scores today. They’re first class mail, so you’ll get them at the very most in 1 or 2 days. Good luck.

how many state takes april 23rd test.

can some one report the curve from results.

@NIGHTLOCK You took it without writing, right?

@elk1122: Yeah it was the state administered one w/o an option for writing. I took a previous ACT w/ writing so I can still use the score though.

One in ILL was with writting so that could be the reason scores are delayed.

I took it in AL with writing so I’m not really expecting scores soon.

I was required to take the writing with mine (in Illinois) so I don’t expect to get my score back until end of May.
