We are in Illinois, and my son also took the writing. A college he sent the score to sent us an e-mail yesterday saying they had received the score, so they should be coming very soon.

Scores are online for IL

The curve for my test was something like E 36 35 34 M 36 35 34 R 36 34 S 36 35 34

any one has any tips for reading. My daughter practice reading score is in 30s and actual reading is 23.

@NIGHTLOCK
You think -1 reading is a 34??

35 was possible in Reading, I saw it with 17,18 sub-scores.

Also, 18,18 sub-scores in English did not guarantee a 36…

Seems the original feedback of a relatively easy test (and thus, harsh curve) was true. Not sure how to determine actual curves with just the sub-score info though…

So reading sounds like a 36 35 35 34

I got 18,17 and I got a 34 :/. Form difference?

@imagineer10 @YZamyatin Everything I said was true for my form, but might not be true for others.

The sub-scores do not represent number of questions wrong. A 17,18 can mean 1, 2, or even 3 questions wrong in Reading depending on the test’s difficulty level. It is very hard to tell curves on non-released exams.

@YZamyatin: Oh, I see. Thanks for clarifying, that makes a lot more sense.

@ilmomof2boys are you sure it was the April 23 ACT that they received? I think they were probably referring to the April 12 ACT scores (assuming ur son took that one). Also @3anddone the state mandated ACT creates a different online account for you and we dont recieve the login info for that until we receive our scores in the mail, so how is it online? Maybe ur thinking of the April 12 ACT?

@enginuity2015 I feel like they’d know which one it is though, like if they hadn’t taken the April 12th test.

We received the state scores online. Did not take the April 12th date. It specifically says state scores, don’t know what else to say. Everyone at my daughters school received scores yesterday online.

Also, scores are in the existing account, not a new account.

@enginuity2015 - My son took the April 23rd test with writing. His scores were available online yesterday morning.

Anyone get their scores in the mail yet? (Include what state you’re in and if you took the writing portion).

For those who haven’t received their scores yet, male your predictions here to compqre it to what you actually got.

My prediction:
English: 29
Math: 32
Reading: 30
Science: 32
Composite: 31
Writing: 8

I am probably really wrong… But I predict (hope) I got
Composite: 32
English: 32
Math: 35
Reading: 27
Science: 34
Writing: 10
