discuss act questions.......

what was the one about the guy dieing in the plane? was it "he delivered?"

Was the question one of those “least acceptable” types? The least acceptable phrase replacement would have been the one that started with “that” because a plane crash cannot deliver goods.

agreed. 10char

but the “he delivered” says that he already delivered the goods which could not happen if the plane crashed

but doesn’t “as” indicate present?

he delivered meant that he was doing it as he died… so i assumed that was the right answer.

What did everyone get for the other one?? the women in antartica?? completed in 94 days?

I said completed.

im 90% sure its completed

Didn’t understand that one… they all meant basically the same thing… but i’m happy
i put completed

For the Roberto Clemente article was it awarded or named for the awards. I said awarded.

I thought all of them but the one with “that” that idk11 were acceptable.
all of them seemed to be suggesting he was delivering as he died in the plane crash and the one with “that” was the only one with seemed to suggest the plane crash was delivering.

It was “named.” They were all titles and not awards.

Umm. I put named for the award because you are named MVP and awarded the title of MVP.

I put named, and completed. Also, I’m pretty sure the plane crash one was the one with the “that” because plane crashes don’t deliver anything.

agreed with Named, that (plane crash).

What are you guys talking about with the 94 days…I don’t remember that question.

Did anyone get hung up on a comma question about the guy in the bait shop?

Did everyone get ‘sit’ instead of ‘sits’? Like, ‘In the store sit baskets…’

@steven

I did

yup, got sit too. and for the completed question, was taht with choics like finalized n stuff?
was completed like a “no change” then? i think i put no change for that, i dnt remember!

It was no change. You don’t finalize or … any of those other verbs a mission.

how about the one about “merchadise” ?

the question was something like, "If I see any merchandise out of place… (don’t remember this part of the sentence)

but I picked the answer that was singular.
