What is “that one?” A or B?

I’m kind of concerned about this question.

does anyone know where prudently was supposed to be placed in the sentence.
in was in the passage about the team that went to Antarctica.
i had no idea what prudent meant so i just said in front of call.

I didn’t know that one either but because prudently in in -ly, I assumed it was an adverb and placed it next to the verb. I’m 95% sure I’m right.

@stevped I chose the childhood… but i’m pretty sure i’m wrong.

i think prudently was in front on call…i think the part of the sentence would read “the women prudently called” i think that was it

for the guy that was giving the speech, and it was asking what a good adverb was for the way he gave his speech, what was wrong with putting no change?

The question didn’t ask for a “good adverb… for the way he gave his speech.” It asked for an adverb that would most likely inspire the audience to take action or something like that.

Compelling was the answer for the speech question. It asked for the word that best fit the result of the audience taking action.

What was the answer to the one about climbing on the mountain story. The choices were like
climbing
to climb
…

ndgirl I was so stumped on that one. I couldn’t decide between climbing and to climb. Pretty much either one would have worked. I put climbing in the end though because the sentence was like The next day they were climbing the mountain in the bitter cold (rearranged this a bit). And then the next sentence was like something along the lines of By the end they had 20 miles left (very LOOSE interpretation lol I don’t remember). So I kind of thought that putting ‘to climb’ wouldn’t sound as good when considering the following sentence. Climbing says they are doing it, (were) to climb says they like were supposed to or something, and the next sentence jumps right into the end of their climbing experience.

I was stuck between to climb and climbing too! but i did end up putting climing as well

pretty sure it was climbing…
but i dont remember the exact sentence

for the one about bats and the misconceptions. for the last question on that one did you leave the thing as “bats aren’t threatening” or change it to “even though we hardly see them?”

i think it was bats aren’t threatening…
cuz the first paragraph was talking about the misconceptions people have about the dangers of bats and stuff

yeah, I think it was correct as written

The sentence “I work at Sam’s Bait Shop” or something should be added to the end of the first paragraph right?

“With a smile” was showing his attitude toward to customers, right?

^^that’s what i had.

Both of those are right, tbonus.

wat was the climbing question

does anyone remember the answer to the Dracula question
