I believe it was with “with its main character”

Ditto. I didn’t know what it meant either. but the sentence was like

“The woman called for a plane to come bring them back to McMurdo Station Prudently.”

Where Should Prudently be places?
A. No Change
B. After “come”
C. Before “Called”
D. After “Plane”

I picked C, Before Called. That was like the hardest question on there.

And for the merchandise one, I put “it.” It’s singular b’c you wouldn’t say “the merchandise are scattered all over the floor.” You’d use “is.”

OH! OH! OH! ANOTHER ONE!!!

At the end of the bait shop one, it said something about how he smiled and wished the fisherman good luck. And then is asked why he did that, and two of the choices were:

A. To show the reader his attitude towrds the customers

B. To express his mood to the customers.

I don’t remember what I put. Does anyone know what was right??

I think B was “express mood of the customers,” so it was the one with “towards the customers.”

^that’s what i put

yeah, express mood to the customers.

Awww shucks, I think I put attitude.

Just because he was smiling doesn’t mean he was in a good mood though.

I think he’s showing his attitude to the customers. He’s showing he’s happy to work there.
He probably acts like that every day even if he’s in a bad mood…because you’d try to look happy all the time in a store.
So I didn’t think it was to express his mood, just his attitude.

There was not a choice that involved “the readers.” I’m pretty sure you’re just segmenting only one choice, which was something along the lines of “express his attitude to the customers.”

Agree with idk11…I don’t remember there being a answer choice involving “the readers” and showing attitude towards customers and expressing mood towards customers are exactly the same, so BOTH couldn’t have been choices.

Does anyone remember a question with “him” and “himself” as answers? I remember not knowing which one to pick so I just went with “him.”

I think I said him too. I don’t remember the question at all but I remember I had a reason for putting him.

Yeah I really have no idea what the question was. But I remember saying that himself is used more for emphasis so only him was needed, but I don’t know…
