English: Easy
Math: Medium
Reading: Easy
Science: Very easy
Essay: Sucked, I hate creativity prompts more than anything

I’m predicting:

English: 31 (34 MC and 8 or worse essay)
Math: 31
Reading: 34-35
Science: 35-36

33 Composite

Does anyone know if they punish you on the essay for making up facts? Cuz I wrote a pretty creative/gruesome essay (said my friend’s only dream was to go to harvard and got rejected because he failed art and then hanged himself–I wanted a personal touch and didn’t know what else to write, I realize this is a pretty touchy subject) and I also said it was rumored that George Bush failed economics and that if he had been taking a class such as economics he would have been a more successful president. The writing was pretty good though haha

This was my first time taking the ACTs so my opinion might be a little biased so please take that into consideration.

Reading - Easy
English - Easy (I know i did the best on this section)
Math - Medium
Writing - Easy (But i have a tendency to make people think, "Oh my god, i get your point already! lol. So i definitely could have done better but I still think I did good.)

Science - HARD!!!

Seriously, science was so difficult for me. To me, the questions were things that I learned from middle school and my science classes now had nothing to do with the material! But at least I know what to study from now on so it was, of course, a learning experience.

hahah that personal anecdote is a bit extreme…
but no you don’t get penalized for making up stuff, unless it detracts from the tone of your essay or something

English - EASY
Math - Medium
Reading - Medium/Hard
Science - Easy
Blew the writing though, only wrote two pages.

English - Easy
Math - Easy/medium
Reading - Medium
Science - Hard!
Essay - Easy

Harder than red book but much easier than princeton review practice tests (btw if anyone wants good prep use all pr practice books. This week studying alone I went from a 26composite first pracitce test to a 31composite on my final pracitce test.) these books are epic

^I might do that. I have to take the ACT again in a couple weeks as a part of the Illinois PSAE, and I think I need a little more prep (especially for science).

I thought that the Science part took FOREVER! I had literally negative minutes to work so since theres no score penalty, I filled in C for the last 6 or so and barely to got to look over them. The English passages were pretty interesting, and that section was pretty easy. The CR section took me a little longer as well.
This is probably because I’ve only taken one practice test, and I did get a 31 composite score, so i’m hoping that all of my SAT prep helped me.

When do scores come out? I hope its before the registration deadline for the June ACT!

math was really hard for me. my watch stopped working and I lost my pace and couldn’t answer all the questions to the best of my ability. I thought English was really easy and reading also seemed easy. This was my 1st ACT w/o any practice tests sooo I am not sure what I am comparing it to haha

So:
Science: hard------24-25?
Math: hard------24-25??
English: SUPER EASY----32-33??
Reading: easy—32-33?

soo ACT composite ranging from: 28-29…maybe get lucky and break 30??? I think my essay would help my composite score go higher

Essay has no effect on composite score.

english and reading - easy/medium
math and science - hard as hell. particularly science…

English- Hard (I suck at English)
Reading- Medium (like I said…I hate English)
Math- Easy
Science- Easiest section…was really look forward to this section

English - easy
Math - DARN HARD ( i suck at math)
Reading - the passages were SO BORING, i know i bombed the first passage
Science - normal/easy. i think it was easier than october one

i think math and reading need decent curve ;)

I think math should get a good curve, english probably won’t get any curve, reading and science might get a slight curve

I don’t think the math will get a harsh curve. While there were some harder ones ( teacher math class one, few last ones), they definitely were not as confusing as some prior test questions.

I didn’t think it was too bad for my first test–much easier than Barron’s and PR. I know I definitely stumbled a little bit in Science and Math, but on the whole, I think it wasn’t too bad.

English- Medium?
Math- Too EZ
Reading- Medium
Science- … too hard

English- moderately easy
math- easiest – much easier than in December.
reading- medium/hard
science- hard/confusing
writing-ok–but, my conclusion was only 2 sentences
