April ACT: What did you think?

if it was what i'm thinking of i selected the answer that didn't have a comma
because u use commas before conjunctions when the following clause is independent

Yeah I'll join in
my IM is viciouspoultry

I hate the science section with a passion. I aced the rest of the test for the most part, but I ran out of time with 1.5 parts to go on the science section... while rushing. What the hell?

The only other thing I'm mad about now is that cube problem. For some reason I got 10%. I have no ideas how.

The essay, which I was dreading, was surprisingly easy.

Science was hard, Reading was moderatley difficult, English Easy Math Easy-Normal

Hats off to anyone who could finish the science section! I ended up skipping four questions on one of the experiments and had to randomly bubble. I thought the rest of the questions were easy though, just time consuming.

same!!!!!!!!

we have an AIM chatroom up - CCACT. message me on aim at thebarbarian999 if you want an invite, too.

English was simple.
Math was okay until the end when I realized I didn't have enough time and was stuck with the hardest problems--the mirror reflection angles and block surface area? What the **** was that?
Then I got anxious and nervous following the math and thought the science was impossible.
Reading was okay. Fairly difficult but I usually score best in reading so we'll see.

The writing prompt was easy to write about, too.

Answer to the comma question was no commas whatsoever.

Which comma question are we referring to? I cant recall the question.

And for the mirror reflection question did anyone get 70 degrees?

I did, hopefully we're right!

The comma question is referred to on the previous page of this thread.

Basically people had to decide between blah blah blah, but, blah blah blah or blah blah blah but blah blah blah.

Glad I'm not the only one who had trouble with the science.

So much harder than past science sections. There better be a nice curve.

I guess most of us are in consensus here:

English: easy
Math: moderate except for a few problems
Reading: moderately difficult
Science: suicide
Writing: Almost too easy of a prompt to be legal.

Also got 70 degrees for the mirror question.

I also put 70 degrees!

I am really worried about the reading and the science sections though. I couldn't finish either of them and had to guess. How are we supposed to do so much stuff in such a little amount of time, we're not computers..ahhhhh I hate standardized testing, it does not demonstrate knowledge, in my opinion.

English: Alright
Math: pretty easy, just needed more time for the last 2-3
Reading: Easy
Science: half was really easy half hard. ~_~ (I did pretty bad oh well)
Essay: Casual

i guessed on the mirror question.... looked like 80 degrees to me :D

anyone get the one about how many rows the girl can plant in the garden? that one's still bugging me......

100th post!!! yea!!!

english: pretty easy, with a stupid mistake here and there i'd expect a 33/34 with the essay
math: i had a little difficulty with some of the problems. the garden one i was too lazy to do it. i put 10 i think because it was c. lol. and the mirror reflection one. i just put 55 because i think it was question 55 and that was a choice. lol.
i'd expect a 31-33.
reading: pretty easy. substantially easier than the SAT. i'd say a 33.
science: what the hell. the co2 passage was insane. i had a problems with about 3 questions total on the other sections. so i'd say a 32 with a nice curve?

so that should put me at about a 32-33. i'd be pretty happy with that.

The garden one was tough, I just guessed.

i think i said 8 rows.
