Anyone NOT doing the April Program?

I'm not.....

Me, neither

Going to China for the first time (!)

considering i'm halfway across the world. sadly no...

Ahh, Narnia? :)

lol..narnia is but a wardrobe away. i'm afraid i'm at my more mundane place of residence.

When are the April Programs - I don't have the forms handy (they are 4000 miles away), but I might be spitting distance away by then?

I'm definitely not. You can't get a feel for the school when there's hundreds of other prospective students around you.

I did an overnight a few weeks ago, and I'm certain it was a more accurate feel than what the April programs could have given. The only thing I would have enjoyed is the dorm tour.

Wow--I'm suprised at how many in this thread aren't going.

I'll be there, though. I haven't visited yet and their programs will hopefully be more in-depth than a normal overnight. I'd appreciate it if somebody who has done both OR a current student of the college could comment on this question: Does Chicago undergo a temporary character change on these April program days to reflect an ideal, "life of the mind" mystique? Or are they a fairly accurate measurement of spending four years there?

I think a couple of Frats might through a party in the middle of the week!

Which is... uncommon?

throw not through, ...well, uncommon perhaps, but not unheard of.

not uncommon at all...bar night is every wednesday..and fiji has "study break" on a lot of thursday nights..who wants to go out on monday or tuesdya anyway?
