I didn't take it as a sophomore... I took PLAN as sophomore.

[/sarcasism]

i wish that were my score.

i got 17-something as a soph, too.

haha, would that be possible? I mean idk how harsh the writing curve tends to be, but if the essay makes up 30% of your score, would an 11 vs a 12 have a significant impact?

No one likes perfect people.

I took PLAN as a freshman... 27 I think.

Perfect people are the bird poop of society.

According to PR I should have gotten a 2090.

CR Raw: 50
Real CR: 630
CR Scaled: 650
M Raw: 44
Real M: 660
M Scaled: 720
W Raw: 37+2*11essay=59
Real W: 650
W Scaled: 720

Real Total: 1940/1290 excluding writing
What I should have gotten: 2090/1370excluding writing

So yes we got *****ed over this time.

I know someone with a 2400 who got a 10 or 8 on the essay.

nice...i don't think i'll ever get past the 10s i'm currently sitting on

Sooooo....
I'm practicing the crap out of math and writing because you can achieve the greatest score improvement in the shortest amount of time with math/grammar. I already have an 11 on the essay; that's not a problem.

yeah i've practicing math a ton...although it's more luck (which problems you get on that particular date) than anything else, well not more than anything else, but you know. I'm quite satisfied with my 700 CR, although I'm memorizing 300 vocab words to see if that improves my score at all. Writing if i don't get in a hurry i shouldn't miss any, but i'm just gonna do some practice...experience is better than learning rules.

I want to take it again. I'd love to improve my W & CR.

I only have time management problems on the critical reading and essay sections. Essay because I write so goddamn much (but I still get 11's so I'm happy), and critical reading because the passages are SO freaking boring. I just give up at some point.

On every other section, I have TOO MUCH time left over. Maybe I should go slower. A LOT SLOWER. I finish a 25min math section in 5 minutes, 25min grammar section in 10. So I need to go A LOT SLOWER on these so I don't make dumb mistakes. (ie 1+1=1)

My school is pretty pathetic too. I think my 1990 (540 M, 660 CR, 790 W, 12 Essay) was the highest......lol. I took it in October and am retaking in May. I'm taking the ACT too.....hope it works for me. Math always screws me over.

I had an insane amount of time left over after each section. It was kinda scary.

I always have a ton of time left for all the sections...except the math write-ins...i always breeze through them (well, it seems that way), then run out of time on the last one!!

I also have time management problems...I write a ton (my print always gets really tiny and illegable towards the end, when i squeeze like 2 paragraphs onto 1 line).

Oh... except on the essay. On the essay I wrote the second half of my 3rd paragraph + the conclusion in 2 minutes. Oops.

haha...there had to be an exception somewhere.

There is always something to make the great fall.

Or in my case, the not-so-great.

800 M=greatness (not by CC standards maybe, but by normal standards, well, maybe not by normal standards, b/c i guess 'normal' people wouldn't care about test scores so much, but yeah, you catch my drift)
