My D20 will be taking an official ACT test at her school. How long does it take for the results to come out for one taken at school? Is it the same as a regular ACT test? Will they posted on her ACT site with her other score? Thank you!
My D20 took one at her school 2/20/19 and still doesn’t have her scores back. It will get posted on Naviance and the ACT website when they’re available. I heard it can take 8 weeks.
We are still waiting on results from 2/20/19 as well.
My son also took the 2/20 ACT and we were told by the school they hoped to have them back by the end of March. We’re still waiting.
Her scores should be posted online
Same as the above comments. D20 took 2/20 and still no results. Also nothing online. I’ve seen on reddit that some kids in some states have gotten them back, so it must be rolling out.
Results are out. D20 got a 36. We are so thrilled and thankful, one and done!
@NCKris are you talking about the 2/20 test? Congrats to your daughter on her great score!
We received the 2/20 scores in the mail yesterday. But these scores aren’t showing up on my son’s online account yet. I am wondering since he took them at school, and the school registered all the kids, if our access will be different?
@Libby1901 My D took her test through her school in March and her school registered the students. Well after the test, I had created an account ACT account online (after none of her info was showing up…email, etc.) because I needed to schedule additional test dates. We got her ACT results from March in the mail yet, those results were NOT showing up in her account I had created. I had to email ACT and, evidently, she had two accounts that they had to merge (one the school created and one we created). Everything is now under the account I created. Most often, test results are posted PRIOR to receiving them via snail mail.
@BreakfastClub1 Thanks for the reply! I think I will need to do the same.
@Libby1901 Compare the ACT ID# on the paper results and your online account. If they are different, send an email through your online account to have them merged.
@BreakfastClub1 They are different ID numbers. What a pain! I emailed my son’s school, since I know I won’t be the only parent whose kid now has two different accounts. But it sounds like it was a pretty simple process to merge the accounts?
@Libby1901 Once I contacted ACT through the account I created, I gave them both ACT ID # and explained the situation. They responded in about 48 hours and indicated they would merge the accounts. She said it would (most likely) be overnight but could take longer. It was done by the following day and all my login credentials still worked. Easy!
@BreakfastClub1 Thanks for the help!
The schools should be doing a better job! My daughter’s school had them create College Board accounts when they took the PSAT, then sent letters home so parents could help the students access those accounts to register for anything else. DD said one classmate already had an account for some reason, and they allowed him to log in and get the information they needed rather than set up a new account. It’s not rocket science!
Finally received son’s scores from 2/20/19 exam. We still need to get his ACT account straightened out, but are happy to at least know his scores.
