AP's and IB

Hey guys! I was just wondering how many AP's evryone is planning to take by the end high school and which ones are really worth taking? and What are "IB" classes?

I was also wondering if you can list your AP's. Thanks. :)

AP Chemistry(?)
AP physics
AP Biology
AP World history
AP Music Theory
AP European History
AP U.S. History (?)
AP Caculus
AP English Lit.

what are IB classes? I have no idea. Do you have an idea?
lol

I'm planning on taking (but not sure) the following AP classes:

AP Chemistry
AP Phycology
AP Biology
AP US History
AP European History
AP Calculus AB or BC (not sure yet)
AP Physics
AP Spanish 4
AP English in 11th grade
AP English in 12th grade

lol. But I doubt that all of these will fit into my schedule. :) But it doesn't hurt to try.

im planing to take in my senior year
Physics
Math4
English lit
Us history
and ya...that pretty much it
im not really taking APs or honors for i dont wana waste my time with that
I have already gotten a 2400 on the SAT I and all 800s on the sat IIs and i did a couple of ECs like chess club, track, and ya...
Eventhough ive taken none AP or honors ill prabably get into a better college then you all...cause i highly doubt anyone on this website scored a 2400 on the satI accept me and i got 800s on sat II. I took all regular classes and got a 99 in my english but in the rest i scored a 100

So im prabably going to go to a better college then you all
they would accept me at harvard with my scores. And by the way ive studied from AP text books so i prabably have a greater understanding then you all. Stuff come easier to me then anyone else, so why bother myself with APs

IB is the International Baccaloriate Program. Basically, it applies to universities worldwide. You also have to write a 4000 word essay and complete 150 service hours and document them.

very impressive for someone who isn't in high school yet, sean

how did you know this?

All dirtycouch had to do was look at your previous post history.

Sean123, this is what you wrote on the Harvard forum a few days ago...

just finished 8th grade and i got a 99 in every class i took advanced earth science the physical setting and Math 1H (honors part 1 of math A )
I will be taking the following AP tests next year (senior year):

AP Spanish Lang. (self-study)
AP U.S. History
AP Statistics
AP Studio Art
AP English Literature

Last year, I took AP World History, AP Art History, AP English Lang., and AP Psychology.

hahaha... they caught you :p! You are starting to sound like Masterus!

This is what I'm planning, but it might not turn out this way:

Freshman - Human Geography
Sophomore - Computer Science
Junior - English Lang&Comp, Calculus BC, Biology, US History, French
Senior - English Lit&Comp, Physics, Gov't, Micro, Macro, French (I don't understand why there are two? Is there a French Lit?)

Self-Study - Statistics

tests or classes?

haha...sean that's really very sad. really. don't lie and be a good boy okay?

i've been taking mostly IBs (IB nerds what what)--IB BIO 1, 2, IB chem 1, IB phys I, IB Elem Fxn/Calc 1, IB math HL, IB chem/phys, IB world history,

ap's-- AP language, AP literature, APUSH, AP algebra

the difference i found was that somehow AP seemed harder than its IB counterparts (according to my friends and my descriptions) because AP is geared towards the exam all year long, while IB takes more time thinking through the materials (rather than memorizing all of them) i personally prefer IB, but that can differ from school to school.

someone tell me how sean123 got a 2400 on the sats when he says stuff like
satI accept me
supposed to be except me. durrrr. and you got a 2400? I don't think so.
and all 800s on the sat IIs
on all the sat IIs? Doubtful.

AP Calculus BC
AP Chemistry
AP US Gov't
AP Macroeconomics
AP Microeconomics (probably only the test)
AP Statistics (probably only the test)
