AP's AP's AP's Help!!!

hey all,

this year (my junior year), I will be taking teh following courses:

AP US history
AP Biology
AP European history (I wanted AP stats but it was booked).
Honors math
Regular English
Latin

Is this selection of courses:
a) doable
b) impressive for Harvard/Yale/Princeton

and do colleges view most AP's the same way?
(for example in my case, do they regard AP Euro and AP Stats the same?)

Help will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Joey

I thought you were a senior.

nope... Im a Junior

Yes, those are doable. But idk about the "impressive" part.

how so? is it because of the regular level English?

You should take enough Aps to become National AP Scholar - thats impressive IMO.

how many do you need to become a national AP scholar?

You don't need to become a national ap scholar.

Take as many as you can manage.

heh, any one can just "sign up" for AP classes, but to do well in them and Score a 5 on the AP exam will look good to colleges like that

you need a total of 8 AP exams with an average of 4 on all of those exams. And adcoms DO get impressed by National AP scholsrs.

It's expected that you'll take AP classes (if they're available to you) and do well in them; but becoming a National AP Scholar and/or getting 5s on multiple AP tests is kind of like being in the National Honor Society--it seems like it's becoming a common denominator among Harvard applicants and, consequently, acceptees.

Anyway, it's more important that you succeed in the class than that you 'ace' the test. Grades are more important.
