APs are changing, help please?

Hi guys,
I noticed that AP is changing the AP Physics sequence. My school told me that they would only offer AP Physics 1. From what I read on the AP website, the former AP Physics B would be split into 2 separate years. So would that mean that I would only be able to take AP Physics 1, "Part 1"? (Not all 3 courses) I want to take the all of AP Physics courses before I apply for college because I want to major in physics.

Thank you!

I believe that this fall is the last year that you can take AP Physics B as one course. After this year, you are correct - it will be divided into two parts. AP Physics B I and II, I presume. So, if you wanted to take Physics as a whole in less than two years, this year would be your last option.

You don’t have to take all Physics courses. Imo just physics c/1+2 should be fine, unless your school begs to differ.
