Any thoughts on any of them??? I thought the Calc wasn't too bad.

APs may be done, but there is still another week and a half of IB Tests.

I personally thought the AP Psychology Exam was very easy and I didn't even take the AP class but rather the IB course which excludes 3 or 4 chapters covered in AP. Chemistry, on the other hand, was difficult.

I can imagine with chemistry...I took it last year...ugh!!!

What are IB's?? Whats the difference between them and the APs??

My daughter still has her Latin:Vergil AP exam tomorrow (which is really tough because today was the last day of school for all the non-Latin AP seniors). She had six AP exams this year and I know she cannot wait for tomorrow night when she can relax (for a day or so and then she has to take the USNA online math exam).

IB stands for "International Baccalaureate" which was designed to be (according to the IBO) "the highest High School Diploma" a student can earn anywhere in the world.

It is different from AP in that it is truly international (for example, my Psychology Exam will likely be graded in Sweden)

It is also different from AP in that there are more requirements than simply exams (which are based on a 1-7 scale, not 1-5 like AP) in addition to an exam in History, English, Chemistry or Biology, a Foreign Language, an elective (Psychology, Art, Computer Science, etc.), and Mathematics, candidates must also complete an in-depth Extended Essay of 5000 words, 150 hours of Community, Action and Service (CAS) and complete the Theory of Knowledge class.

I could go on and on but that is a basic overview.

I loved the Calc AB exam, it was much easier than the practice I took the saturday before. Physics B on the otherhand, I bombed. I'm hoping for a 3. Next year won't be fun, I'm planning on 4-5 APs. My school is in the process of becoming IB, teachers have to leave alot for the IB convention things.

I took the AP Macro exam today, man did I feel lost. The AP Govt exam on the other hand was easy.

Yeah AP Gov was a lot less vague than I thought it would be. And Calc I really stressed out about but I found it relatively easy. Microeconomics was today and.....eeh I think I did well enough. Remember though....we must take any and all information regarding the multiple choice section TO THE GRAVE!!

I've been done since Monday. I'm hoping for 5's on my US, Lang, and german exams. But probably got a 2 on physics B. I am horrible at physics. Thank God for Chem next year.

I thought the AP Lit test was easy...like you didn't even have to take the AP course to do well on the test. The Stats test wasn't bad either. AP Latin: Catullus/Ovid is my last one, and is supposed to be tomorrow, but I'm taking a make-up next Thursday. Yay for an extra week of studying!

Calc and bio were pretty easy this year.

Gov was super easy and AP Spanish.....well, let's just say that it was marginally easier than i thought it'd be ;)

I thought English Lang/Comp, Calc, and U.S. Government were relatively easy, but I got destroyed in Computer Science A. Bad, bad exam...

Oh yes, and the MCs can be revealed to no one...haha, that is the funniest part of the directions! Of course no one takes that too seriously ;)

Lit was ok, US gov was good, psych was really good....physics i was pretty lost except that awesome "design an experiment", comparative gov was ok...stat everything was FABULOUS except that last question with the thermometers, grrrr. Chem was ok, I felt a lot more prepared than i thought I would on the titration

Haha, English Lit and Comp anyone? My hand was shot after those 3 essays.

Woah Woah, 5000 words for the IB essay, thats rediculous, thats like 9 pages typed single spaced, what is the time framed for that? Is it hand written?

ohhhh the literature.......I wanted to scream I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT EFFING NIGHT HAWK!!!! and physics I felt if I really put in the time I could have done well....nothing on the exam was extremely hard except for all of those electricity problems.

omg the night hawk thing was WEEEEEEEEEEEIRD

but i wrote about My Antonia on the open question b/c it seemed to fit PERFECTLY

yeah the open question I thought was kind of vague with regard to the word "country." At first I thought it meant county like nation...and then I thought of a remote place so I used Lord of the Flies...idk...i thought it worked. Some people in my room thought it acutallly meant like the American Midwest....ignorant new yorkers

HAHA, two people in my class used Russia from Crime and Punishment b/c they though it ment nation too! I used the heath from King Lear. Nighthawk, dont even get me started

Crime and Punishment....ughhhh....I really have hated everything I've read this year....we are now reading the handmaid's tale....shoot me now!!
