This year more specifically it was something like: "Analyze the changing roles of women from immediately after the Revolutionary War to the Civil War and adress such ideas as the 'republican motherhood' and '(something else... drawing a blank).' Be sure to address issues of race and class... blah blah blah."

No one else took the Modern European History exam? I thought it was pretty easy. The DBQ is a little different from the APUSH exam's, in that the Euro exam somewhat discourages you from using outside information and forces you to use the documents. This year's was about the role of sports in the late 19th century and early 20th century. 'Twas fun.

Multiple choice was pretty easy, and I was relieved to see that two of the essay choices were topics I was pretty confident on... Catholic (Counter) Reformation and the downfall of the Third Reich. Yum...

And... No one cares.

Bye.

Marine2011, at our high school sophomores take that exam...and I know other high schools do this also, though it isn't a hard and fast rule nationally. Hence you might not find too many junior/seniors weighing in here....I dunno though.

yeah man I took Euro in 10th grade.....my class wasn't an AP class and I was like 1 of 3 people who were taking it. I thought it was a little confusing...the essays that is (when I took it).

Hm... I suppose it's the opposite in our school then... APUSH is only available to sophomores, while Euro and Gov are available to juniors and seniors.

Here sophomores take world, juniors take us, and seniors take euro or gov.
I thought the DBQ was easy with some thought. There were four parts: Change of american women between revolutionary and civil wars, address the ideas of cult of domesticity and republican motherhood, adress class and race, and how did it influence their lives.
I just talked about great awakening, defined the terms, what it meant to be to them, movement out west, and the lowell system.
I got stuck with the second FR on something on the west and racial and how that defined federal govt change during the civil war and reconstruction.

Yeah I specifically remember the West question....that was the only essay I really had to rack my brain for facts. I think I blew that one....otherwise I did very well on mult. choice and the other essays.

I'm surprised but no one really said anything about the Chem test. It was easier than I thought it would be. Who else took it.
