AP'S at UCCP..
If you have ever taken it, whats it like?
Does it replace a class that isnt offered at your school or is it more of a AP Prep course.
Is it easy gradewise and how much work is involved/ time commitment.
Thanks in Advance!

Bump.............

bump..........

both..
it preps for ap exam + looks good when u apply to college

however u may or not get hs credit for the class.. depends on school.. ask ur counselor

i need to boost my gpa. it better count.

from my understanding all the school needs to do is list it on the official "A-G Couse List" can anyone confirm this?

Yep, that's right. If your school adds the class to the A-G list, colleges will officially recognize it. I took AP US History through UCCP this past year and I liked it. The grading was based on a basic point system; no special weighting. Then again, it depends on which instructor you have. I also took Honors Psychology online and the grading categories were different. Overall, I felt prepared for the AP Exam. The work is not a lot if you just keep up with it (which I didn't always do). I highly recommend it. :)
