AP's for Senior Year

For Senior year, I will be taking anywhere from 3 to 5 AP's.
I will definitely be taking:
1. AP Latin Vergil
2. AP World History
3. either AP Calc AB or AP Calc BC
Now.. I will possibly be taking
4. AP Physics B or AP Chemistry (taking AP Bio junior year)
5. AP Statistics

I was thinking if I took AP Calc AB, that I would definitely take one or both of the "possible" AP's.
But... if I took AP Calc BC, that it would be too much of a work load to take both, or even one of the "possibles".

So, what I am asking would be, if I already took three honors sciences (bio, chem, phys) and AP bio by senior year, would it look better to take BC and not the AP science.. or to take AB and take the AP science (and possibly Stats as well).

Emm, I would reccomend BC and the science, for the simple reason that a 5 on BC will get you credit practically anywhere, whereas AB is much less useful.

Don’t really care much about the credit… just what will look better.

BC looks a lot better than AB. You do well to try and plan to avoid a huge workload but I think that you’re wrong on your workload. You could easily handly APs 1-3 as well as either 4 or 5, and I think you could handle all of them.

The AP program goes on and on about how Ap courses ‘emphasize rigorous college core concepts’ and ‘require a comphrensive understanding of themes’ and then your school rants about how an AP student must be ‘completely devoted to his/her studies’ and ‘extremely methodical’. They love all those stupid words. The truth? AP courses are hard but very manageable. Take them all, I know you can handle it if you try!

Yea, I am taking my first AP courses this (Junior) year, which are AP Biology and AP US History, so I am not really sure how hard they are as opposed to Honors courses (in all Honors Freshman and Sophomore years).

If you haven’t even started your junior year why are you stressing about what classes you are going to take senior year? Take the two AP classes and see how you feel. If you feel you can handle more than decide to take more do so but don’t stress over such matters until after your first “AP Season.”
