APs & SATIIs

Is it practical (in terms of admissions) to take both the AP exam and the corresponding SAT Subject Test (this is, of course, barring the Math 2)?

For example:

AP Physics B (C the following year) & SATII Physics
AP English Lang (Lit the following year) & SATII Lit

To me, that seems redundant (assuming that I do well on all exams). Wouldn't the admissions officers rather see a high score in one AP subject and another high score in a different SAT Subject test, as opposed to receiving confirmation that I am, in fact, good at that one subject and that my AP exam didn't lie?

Wow, that actually makes sense. I guess it would be a smart strategy to vary them up, but then again, that might raise some eyebrows for the adcoms b/c everyone likes to kill two birds with one stone whenever possible for the SAT IIs and the APs.
