How much time do you expect to spend on APs daily? I am particularly interested in AP Enco, AP Stat, AP Psyc, AP Chem, AP Bio and AP Physics.

I wanna know this too. I know it varies by person, but what do you do?

AP Physics? I study the night before the test by doing a set of practice problems (i.e. a practice test). Other than that, I may or may not do the homework every night (usually do it in the morning before school).

AP Calc AB - no studying yet, I'm still relying on my intro. to calc. knowledge.

AP Lit - not much at all, I read the poems/stories/book before a test and hope I remember it all.

AP Art History - one hour or so the night before the test, I'll attempt to read the chapter. Failing that, I just look at the pictures and skim my notes.

I also want to know AP Comp Sci A.

I only study for AP Bio the night before the test. Or maybe a couple nights before, depending on how many chapters are on the test. I just reread the chapters, do the review questions at the end of each chapter, and take practice quizzes/tests on the CD that comes with our book. And then I go over my notes, but there're hardly ever any.

We never really get homework in AP Bio, and I still feel like I'm just reviewing honors bio, but apparently, most people in his class get 5's on the exam.

Comp Sci A - almost no homework. Maybe we got like one worksheet per month which I did in class. When we got programming homework, it was to finish stuff we were doing in class, but the people in my class were mad dumb, so I always finished everything in class anyway.

Calc AB - We get homework every day. We usually start it in class, though, so I usually spend about half an hour of homework each night. Another half hour of review the day before a test.

Chem - we don't get homework every day. Worksheets and pre-labs take about half an hour twice a week or so. Maybe I'll spend half an hour to an hour reading through the chapter the day before a test.

Lang - homework, on average, every other day. If it's a composition, maybe 1.5 hours. If it's something small (like annotating a speech or reading a short story) then half an hour. If we have an actual reading assignment (like parts of novels or plays) then an hour. We don't have tests. I don't usually do any prep for essays.

Bio - we get homework like once a week if at all. I spend like half an hour studying for tests. Maybe one hour per week on average? It's such a BS class.

US History - I don't read the textbook aside from the day of tests during lunch. I just pay attention in class. We review everything that the teacher puts on his tests, which are about every other week. We have DBQ's every two or three weeks. I usually spend half an hour preparing an outline the day before (we get the topics beforehand).

AP Stats - I took that last year... I basically did the first 2 or 3 problems from every hw assignment each night... didn't really understand what was going on in class, but I looked at the examples in the book and most of the time I was fine. Our teacher set aside about 2 to 3 weeks for all study time in class before the test, and I ended up getting a 5 and 96 year grade. Sweet class, pretty easy.

Let's see, AP CHem I never studied for, had a great teacher and was pretty good at it.

AP Calc BC - Never did my homework, so have to read over the formulas a little before the test. So far, I have an A, but not many people do, even when doing their homework.

AP History - Had to read the internet notes... tried not doing anythign once... well, it didnt' go so well. But not too much reading, my teacher here was also really good.

AP Eco - I found it very easy, but then again, I already knew some stuff going in it thanks to my brother. Once again, great teacher.

AP Lit - Taking it, and not doing much... also not doing very well in the class...

AP Phys - Same as calc.

Overall, I'd say, out of those classes Calculus and Physics are the hardest and require the most studying time. And doing your hoemwork helps A LOT (I stopped doing it because of work, and my grades did decline).

AP History is just memorization,s o you gotta read, but there are websites with really good notes...
